Walk.Spot wildlife.Snap it.

Wildmiler turns a walk into a wildlife hunt. Snap an animal, Walker names the species, scores your photo and adds it to your Field Guide.

In private testing. Not on the App Store yet.

Walk

Go for your usual walk. Wildmiler counts your steps and distance and draws your route on the map.

No time to move? Sit & Spot lets you stay in one place and watch. Every animal that turns up counts, and a long, quiet sit earns trophies of its own.

A walk summary: the route on a map with a snap along the way, then distance, time, steps and calories

Spot

Check the radar before you go. It shows what people have reported within about 9 miles this week, and how likely you are to see each animal.

The ones you haven't found stay hidden, so finding them is still a surprise. Prefer to know? Turn on Show animals.

The wildlife radar: species reported nearby this month, kept hidden until you find them, each with how likely you are to see it

Snap

Take a photo or record a short clip. Zoom in, hold to lock focus, and Walker names the species and gives your shot one to three stars.

The AI can be wrong. If it is, you can fix the name.

Found a view, a landmark or a sunset instead? The Postcard button saves it to your walk with no animal check at all.

A snap result: a photo of a ring-billed gull with a New species stamp, its name, and Walker with a photo tip

Collect

Every species you find goes into your Field Guide. Each trophy shows its goal and how close you are, so there's always a next one to chase.

The Field Guide: 21 species found, with the best photo of each, such as a ring-billed gull and Canada geese

Compete

Pick a username and find friends by searching for it. If you want to, join the boards for your area (about 15 miles across) and your state or country.

Points and species come from snaps our server has checked. All of it is optional, and private until you switch it on.
